Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this half-inch drive air impact wrench. Now this air impact uses a powerful rocking dog clutch, which has a max of 230 foot pounds of torque. The rocking dog mechanism is a one cycle, one hammer design. And this is a nice well-balanced design, you can see has a nice pistol grip handle for control. It is lightweight and durable cast aluminum housing.

Now it does have the push button direction change for quick and easy operation. You can see the button right here and then it'll pop out this way. So in other words, with it sticking out this way, it's in the forward position. If you take your finger and push back on it, pushes the button this way, that's the reverse position. And then when you go to change it, just put your thumb on it and push it back into the forward position.So it makes it very easy to change from forward to reverse.

It is. The whole impact itself has a nice, comfortable, soft touch finish for improved control and comfort. Has a built in air regulator right down here for precise speed control. Basically.. I'm sorry the air regulator is right over here.

You just push in on this and turn it and it'll put you into what. There's four different settings and you just push it to whatever setting you need for the desired setting for the air control. So this impact is ideal for changing tires, shock and spring work, and other automotive jobs. It does come with the Allen wrench and this nice quick connect male air coupler that you would just take off that, put some tape on there and then install it. And it makes it easy to plug into your airline hose.Few specs on this again, the drive size is a half inch.

Max torque is 230 foot pounds. Working torque is 50 to 200 foot pounds. Air pressure, the max is 90 Psi. Average air consumption is four cubic feet per minute. Free speed RPM is 7,500. The air inlet size is a quarter inch NPT thread. The hose size recommended is three eighths inch diameter. And the weight on this impact is about 4.4 pounds.
